We wish to inform our members that Ornella, our club insurer, has successfully negotiated a partnership with Mapfre to provide motorhome breakdown assistance as part of the club insurance scheme; however, please note that repatriation to Ireland is currently not included.
The deal is offered with the insurance renewal on a yearly basis at an additional cost of €40.00 for all motorcaravans up to 3500kg Gross weight.
If you break down anywhere within the European Union, the UK, Andorra, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and Monaco. Mapfre will render assistance to try and get the Motorcaravan going, should they fail at roadside assistance they will tow you to the nearest garage. If the garage can repair the vehicle and get you going you pay for any labour and parts.
In the event of your Campervan being immobilised as a result of a mechanical or electrical breakdown, fire, attempted theft, malicious damage, punctures that require assistance, to fix or replace a wheel, lost keys or keys broken in the lock or locked in it , they will assist .There are no frills or thrills just assistance and towing to a suitable garage within a reasonable distance.
